During the recent local elections, many residents in the Cheltenham Road area of Paulsgrove expressed frustration at the council’s lack of attention to several issues here, namely:

• The appalling state of the road surface
• The lack of adequate parking – causing people to park on lawns and at other unsuitable locations
•  The traffic lights which don’t allow more than 3 cars at a time to exit the street

Local Labour Party members have been door knocking today to survey the people on Cheltenham Road to see what they would like done about these problems and then lobby the council to get them to actually do something.
