The council elections next May will be our first opportunity to show the Tory government what voters feel about their handling of the Covid 19 pandemic, and their scandalous disregard for the health and wellbeing of local communities.

But the restrictions on meetings and events during 2020 have severely hampered our regular fundraising efforts. We urgently need to raise funds to support our Labour candidates’ who are at the forefront of community initiatives and local campaigns during this pandemic. 

That’s why we’re launching a major fundraising initiative to pay for the election communications we will need – to keep Portsmouth people informed about Labour policies, and to get more Labour councillors elected in May 2021.

For a regular monthly donation, you will receive:

• A classic Portsmouth Labour badge
• Entry into a quarterly prize draw, starting with a Christmas hamper in December
• Invitation to two special events a year with guest speakers

We are looking for supporters to pay £20 a month, but welcome donations between £5 and £50 per month depending on what you can afford.
