Yesterday at the Portsmouth City Council Full Council meeting Labour councillors championed residents concerns on a number of issues, including:
✔️ Calling for increased focus on tackling anti-social behaviour issues across the city
✔️ Welcoming the Labour government’s investment in early years provision and the tackling of child poverty
✔️ Ensuring accessible transport is improved for adults with Learning Disabilities
✔️ Calling for action to tackle flooding on roads in the north of the city
Cllr Charlotte Gerada, Leader of the Labour Group said
“Thank you to the local residents who came along to give powerful deputations and those who work with us to make our city an even safer, greener and cleaner place to live.”
