Seizing illegal vapes and cigarettes in Portsmouth

Amanda Martin MP joined Trading Standards in North End on one of their raids to seize hundreds of illegal vapes and cigarettes worth tens of thousands of pounds. They found suitcases and bags full of illegal cigarettes.
These products often exceed legal nicotine limits and target our children. With new government powers, Trading Standards can now seize all disposable vapes and are able to issue fines of up to £10,000 on the spot for selling these dangerous items.
