I’m proud to be your local St Jude campaigner working alongside Cllr’s Graham Heaney and Judith Smyth and our local MP Stephen Morgan. As a local resident and carer I know the challenges our area faces and I’m keen to build on the brilliant work Graham, Judith and Stephen have been doing for our area.
Since lockdown restrictions have started to be eased, I’ve been speaking to people and hearing about their hopes and concerns for the future again. One thing is clear – many of you are deeply worried about the jobs crisis being faced across the country.
At this time of national crisis, we’ve all stepped up to offer our community the support it needs. I’ve been so inspired by seeing all the rainbows in the windows of houses in our area and how the community has come together during this challenging time. I’ve been supporting the brilliant team at Pompey in the Community deliver hot meals to those in our area that need them or have been struggling during the pandemic.
From High Streets to ensuring we get a green recovery and better cycling provision in our city I know me and the team have the ideas and experience to make these things happen.
