Portsmouth Labour Party Standing up for you and our city
The cost of living crisis is making families’ lives even harder in our city, so Labour councillors, candidates and Stephen Morgan MP are doing all they can to increase support both locally and nationally.
At the recent city council budget, Labour secured a Cost of Living Hardship Fund for residents struggling with their bills. And Labour will keep challenging the Lib Dems’ decision to close all public pools in the south of the city.
- Ensure support during the cost of living crisis, including a hardship fund for those most in need
- More things for young people to do in our neighbourhoods, including after school and during the holidays
- Offer cheaper bus passes for young people and families all year round
- Improve affordable and accessible access to swimming and leisure facilities for families
